Getting ready to install my vinyl top. Is there a correct dimension for how high or low on the A-pillar the seam is located? I've seen anywhere between about 2" and 4" below the top line of the windshield.

Thanks!

I would think that the only choice you would have is to set the seams evenly on each side.

I was thinking of this myself as I am going to also be installing a new roof.

I am using the wide seam roof, the roof seam will run down the side of the B pillar. The A pillar seam would be in a position all depending on where the roof seam sits near the rear window, B pillar.
If the roof is pulled to far back the B pillar seam will not be in an optimum spot and this in turn will pull the A pillar seam up the A pillar higher. B pillar seam to close to the window and trim.
So if you set your roof seam on the B pillar, window trim distance just right then I would think the A pillar seam should basically fall into place,,, of course as long as the roof material was made to specs.

Just my thoughts on how I was going to set the seams up.

Can anyone measure their seam height/location?  :thankyou:
