I went to an event in Picton, ON yesterday called Armdrop Drag Racing. This event is held three times a year, weather permitting, at an old air force base. It is a non-sanctioned, low budget event put on by a group of car loving volunteers. Besides car racing there is also a car and bike show. Spectator admission is $5 and racing is $20 for as many passes as you want to make. No time tickets, no prizes, just for fun. I'll make a video of this when I get time, I shot a lot of footage.

looked like the vette was about to overtake the Demon then blew something.  :notsure:

It was a lot of fun. Everything was there from 9 second cars to grocery getters. I thought it was cool that the starter girls dressed old school.

Reminds me of the racing that went on around here at about midnight on weekends..circa 1980-84 ..... but on public roads.  :o

What I think he "blew" was the rear tires traction and he couldn't get out of it afterwards.  :cheers:
