I missed this one last year and plan to attend this year. It starts at 6pm on Aug 14. Done that back in the late 70s early 80s. Will see how many people will keep cool and not do much crazy thing.

Did anyone end up going to this? How was it?

I got there around six and cars were starting to show up. I met up with 70 Pumpkins and we did one round trip together. Some part was stop and go and lots of muscle and street rods. Ran into Alex with his white Challenger. At one point I counted at least 20 modern Mustangs lining up to make a left turn at Hillsdale holding up traffic. Some open the exhaust bypass and start gunning it. I was surprised how tolerable the cops were and there were many of them. Overall not bad and did three loops before getting dinner. Will do again if the next one comes.
