We have completed another Carlisle Show and once again it was very memorable!  First I want to thank all that showed up this year and participated with the club and the planned activities!  I think we had a great time!  I also want to thank @purple1  . . Dave and Mary for supplying the drinks for the Saturday lunch!  I also want to thank @ViperMan  . . AKA Viperlesspunk . . For driving me to get pizzas for the Saturday parking lot party . . Twice!  Last I want to thank the site for supplying food for lunch and pizza for the after show party.

Not to forget the weather gods for giving us some great weather and only raining on us for about 10 minutes on Friday and then making up for it with a great day on Saturday.  We were told that they broke records again this year with 2925 registered cars . . They said we beat our record by about 120 cars!  All in all . . Another successful Carlisle adventure in the books!

"They said we beat our record by about 120 cars!  All in all . . Another successful Carlisle adventure in the books! "  Just imagine if the dumbass Canadians were allowed to leave their rooms! Maybe next year- sigh! I guess I should look at the bright side, at least my car should be painted!

We mentioned many times that we miss our friends from the north!  Wish you all could of been there.  Next year should be awesome!

I will say that although the rain gods were good to us at the show, they kicked my ass before and after.  On my way there, traffic stopped completely on the freeway do to rain and visibility . . First Michigan and Pennsylvania . . Then on the way back Ohio played her cards.  The hardtop took its share of water this weekend.

A great show at Carlilse as always. Big thanks to Dave/Spikedog for all the work he does setting up tents, dinner, lunch etc. so we have a place to hang out and good food to eat. We missed seeing a bunch of people this year so hopefully next year  a lot more can make it. I left 5am Sunday and only had 10 minutes of rain about 5:15,  otherwise pretty smooth 7 1/2 hour trip home.

But did they sell?  A car is only worth what a buyer is willing to pay . . . I will say that the car corral was small. Probably a third of what it usually is!  Not sure why?   :notsure:

Ed, you are a great addition to our club!  Look forward to many more years hanging with you and that beautiful Cuda you own!  Next year will be even better as hopefully a lot of the normal group will be able to make it.  You met some of the club but most of the old timers were not there.  You are in for a big surprise when we all get together . . It is magical!

I certainly enjoyed hanging with the club folks at the club tent and the dinner.  Thanks to all who contributed.
