three two barrels

I've known about this car for over 30 years, very local to me and I even tried to buy it in the late 80's.
Same owner for at least that long, gotta be in his 70's.
Very optimistic with his price.

It's a very rare car, May not be as optimistic as you think....

$100K / OBO is very reasonable....considering there is an AAR-knockoff currently on Ebay with an asking price of $69K. Hope the new owner leaves it the hell alone.

Is the 100k ask in CAD?
That would be ~81k USD

There were 2 early hemi B Body convertibles at Mecum in Indy last month, if memory serves one was a '66 Belvidere and the other was a '67 Coronet R/T.
Both looked to be high end restorations.
I don't recall what they ended up selling for and would have to dig up my Mecum password and dig through their site for a while to find out, but I think they ended up both in the $150-180K range.  I think this car would be in the same ballpark value as them.
So you'd need to figure in what it would cost to restore that GTX and work from there.  Is that 100K Canadian or US?  How much would it cost for a high end restoration on the GTX?

I think the value is in the details. Is it an original drivetrain car? what isn't original on it?

I would have to agree that it is a very optimistic price for that '67 Hemi GTX Convert. It is rare for sure, but not as desirable as the 1968 - 1971 Hemi cars. They made 720 Hemi GTXs, and while I do not recall the figures off the top of my head, it is around 5 percent to 10 percent were converts. It is at least - in my opinion - around $100K to put it together correctly. A Hemi alone is at likely $20K to build (probably more), assuming nothing is hurt on it.

Based on the few pictures that I see it looks rusty and in serious need of more than a little TLC.

I own a 1967 Hemi GTX hardtop (since 1986), the second owner, and it has been in my possession ever since. I restored it some 25 years ago, so while it is a dated restoration, it is been garage kept and I have honestly put on it probably 1000 miles during the last 35 years. It has a decent pedigree too, as it raced at Lions Drag Strip in 1968 and 1969 (still have some original time slips from it, at 10.26 in the quarter mile), and Irwindale in 1970. I'd like to find some original pictures of it racing, but I don't know where to locate any of those.

See picture attached. Whoever purchases the car is going to have a great project on his (or her) hands. Great color too!
