We've seen this guy before, not sure if his ads are legit or not....his car collection seems to go to be true...

That is quite a collection. I've been wondering if the collector himself passed away and this is all being auctioned by a family member or friend. They seem to know the Mopar / e body language yet they leave so much out that would probably get the sale. Almost like they are just creating the ad based on written notes left for them. Has anyone made the journey out there to see all this in person? That might be a trip worth making.

If they were serious, they should squirt some air in the flat tire and at least give the appearance that the cars are being maintained. I'd also roll it out into the sunlight and get better photos.

Yes he's been trying to sell these cars for at least 6 months. He started with a terrible craigslist ad. I reached on about some of the convertibles he had listed but he never responded. I'm not sure what he's doing.

I had a similar experience recently with a different seller. His ad was terrible, his eBay account had zero feedback, and he wasn't responding to messages. Eventually we connected though and after making the journey and seeing the car in person, I was blown away. I am certain that had he handled things differently, the car would have sold much sooner, possibly for more than I paid. You just never know for sure.

If I were in the market for car #5, I'd go meet the guy and check many of them out. After six months of no action, he might be loosened up enough to work a deal with the first serious guy who makes the trip out there. The car I bought turned out to be even better than the seller described...maybe the same thing can happen here with one of these 20 plus cars.

I'm glad to hear you got lucky, probably not the case with this seller.... :alan2cents:
