this car is for sale on hemmings for many month now , i m not sure it's a good idea to put it on Ebay ,doesn't help the desirability  ...

At a starting price of $497,000, it will not get any bids. I value that car at about $250,000 to $300,000 and that's only if it truly is unrestored.

I agree. The driver side sure looks wet and glossy. Hard to believe that's original exterior paint. Beautiful car though. It deserves to be driven.

The very common classic car brokerage on a fishing expedition situation.  I've wondered what their strategy is when they list cars priced way over market.  Looking for that "one buyer" with deep pockets, or are they hoping someone is interested and after some negotiation they let him "steal" a $250,000 car for $300,000 happy he bargained them down 40% off their starting price?
Are wheel opening moldings correct for a hemi car?  I'm thinking they aren't, but that some got them anyway?
The pictures under the hood look like the engine might be repainted?  Booster looks repainted.  Might be a largely original car, but wouldn't score high in survivor judging.

Not a ralley dash?
Rallye dashes were optional on 'cudas instead of standard like they were on Challenger R/T's.  Someone neglected to check that option box when this cuda was being ordered!

I dont know the car, but I do know that guy that owns the shop/dealership where it is listed for sale.

It is a consignment but I am sure price is based on the owners input.
Like someone else said - ask for the moon and see what kind of legit offer you actually get.
I am going to be up there next weekend going to have to go take a look at it.
I have not ever looked one over in person where I could actually get up and around the car - only at some show where it is roped off or something like that.

Has the original paint been clear coated or something ? I've never seen 48 year old paint look that shiny

There's five Hemi Cudas coming up at the Mecum auction in Kissimmee in a couple weeks. It'll be interesting to see how they sell.

Nice car but I also agree that is very shiny paint for a un restored car.

The reason it is priced half a mil is because it is a 1 of 1 rare fwd (front wheel drive) according to the dealer's ad.
