And here it is. finally on ebay.  How surprising.

@6bblgt
Can you comment on the low spd date?  003223  That is quite low in number.

I do think it is pretty cool that the car has V1F.  Or had anyway.

Thoughts anyone?

the SPD ("SCHEDULED PRODUCTION DATE") is 930 (Tuesday September 30, 1969)
it is appropriate for assigned VIN sequence 0B 139253 from the Hamtramck, MI assembly plant

the VON ("VEHICLE ORDER NUMBER"): 003223, has little or nothing to do with when or where a car is built
the best evidence indicates that a Plymouth E-body with a low "00xxxx" VON likely originated in the northeast - New York state would qualify - and as the number gets larger moves into the midwest

for example - a dealership in Smithtown, NY could've received a pad of 25 (how big were these pads?) BARACUDA order forms with VONs from 002475 to 002499 - these could've been used randomly throughout the year during any month, in order or out of order, half or more could've ended up in the trash

I called it wrong.  My mistake.

70 Challenger Lover

This car was found by a flipper and offered up on the Facebook groups first for a price of $35k. A lot of us were surprised it didn't sell.

with two production Factories - Detroit and LA ---

One would think that management had the line up on the floor in order...

Question - FACTORY TO FACTORY --- did they kept close contact with each other pertaining to the vin numbers with order dates of each day?  Build sheet and fender tag  - Dates  - related ???

Theoretically, both plants could produce JS23N0B123456 and JS23N0E123456, they are not the same VIN   :dunno:

Personally, I can't see why either plant would care what the other was doing  I could be wrong :-[

I have not seen any coordination between the two plants.
Of course , I'm only offering 2 cents.

Correct, since part of the VIN includes the factory location.

Has such a combination ever been found though?  2 identical VINs but with different factory designators?      Probably not likely, given that in order for that to happen, both factories had to be making the same exact model, trim, engine, and sequence number for that to happen.

Chances are that sequence 123456 at one factory was a Barracuda, and 123456 at the other factory was a Dart

there are two known '69 Charger R/Ts that are only different by plant XS23L9G VS XS29L9B with the same last 6-digits - I'm sure there are others
