Not a project for the faint of heart, but red 71 Cuda 340 4-speed with Shaker checks a lot of boxes for many folks.  Will be interested to see what it goes for, and how much of the original sheetmetal, if any, gets saved.

The tag in the photo has D21 (4-speed), but there is clearly no hole in the dash frame for the reverse light. Dash frame replaced at one time, or... :notsure:

Up for bid is an Ultra Rare 1971 Plymouth Cuda. This car has great options! It is a FE5 Red 340 4 Speed car with the shaker hood, rear spoiler, power brakes, hood tie downs and a console. It needs a full restoration. I have the fender tag. I have a clear title in my name. I bought this to restore, but found a hemi car and couldn't pass it up. Pickup or shipping is on the buyer, I will assist.

I think it was an auction starting at $5K, not sure of the asking price

I'd rather have this one.
Buy that project. Live the dream.

Friend of mine had a Hemi Charger that was in worse condition than that one. Didn't have engine or drive train. Friend of a friend of a friend found out about it. Guy offer stupid high price for it. Buddy figured out real quick what was going on. Said he wouldn't sell it for less than $20,000. It sold. Basically the buyer paid $20k for a vin and tag.

I think it is a very cool car and a great project for someone with the metal fab chops to get the sheet metal in order.  But I am always over optimistic in what I think these projects take so there is that :haha:
