1970 Plymouth Barracuda Gran Coupe.  Originally came factory equipped as a 318 A/T burnt orange car with burnt orange bucket seat interior, complimented by a black gator grain vinyl top.  Car was modified for drag racing back in the day and has spent all of its recent years (20+) stored indoors.  Incredibly solid with very little rust to deal with.

Body:  Fenders and header panel are in great shape with no rust or other damage.  Cuda rallye hood has surface rust on the underside where it was stripped and will need to be lightly blasted before sealing with a metal etch primer.  Inner panels of both doors were cut out for drag racing and two complete door assemblies with glass and regulators are included in the auction.  Six point roll cage has been removed and only remaining remnants are the floor plates which were welded down before attaching the tubular uprights.  Quarter panels were opened up for drag slicks and will need replaced along with the outer rear wheel wells to restore the stock wheel opening.  Trunk extensions were also trimmed at the front.  There is a rust hole in the lower section of the driver side quarter panel ahead of the rear wheel and rust swelling in the same place on the passenger side quarter panel.  Only other rust is likely underneath the vinyl top as there is some bubbling at the rear roof pillar seams.  Trunk lid is fiberglass and hinge supports were removed from the car while it was being raced.  Replacement trunk lid, hinges, and hinge supports are included.  Trunk floor is overall pretty solid although it was cut for fuel cell outlets and lines.  Battery had also been mounted in the trunk previously.  Tailpanel is in excellent shape with no rust around the rear license plate area.  All frame rails including the torsion bar crossmember are dry and rust free.  The right front frame rail is turned outward slightly, just ahead of the radiator support from an apparent incident with a parking curb or post.  Inner front fenders are very solid with no rust swelling around the shock tower or radiator support apron spot welds.  They do have the typical swelling starting around the hood hinge bolts.  Firewall and cowl are solid with extra holes drilled/cut for race related wiring and component mounting.  Grill is in excellent condition.  Front driving light lenses are cracked.  Most of the wiring on the car has either been cut or removed.  Windshield is in good condition, quarter glass and rear window are lexan and I have clear replacement glass to go with the car included in the auction.

Interior:  Correct 1970 bucket seats and rear seat will need recovered.  Dash assembly is complete other than I do not have a radio for the car.  A/C heater box and some of the ductwork is missing.  Dash harness has been cut.  Door panels and rear interior panels are faded and have cuts for roll bar clearance.  Floor pan is overall very solid with likely a few rust spots to be addressed.  Rear passenger floor pan (just behind the bucket seats) has a slight modification where the frame connector extended up through the floor so it could be tied into the rear frame rail.  I do not have a Gran Coupe headliner panel, overhead console, or seat belts for the car.  The rear seat "hooks" that weld to the floor pan are missing.

Noteworthy fender tag items include the burnt orange exterior with complimenting interior, gator grain vinyl top, power disc brakes, and a September 11, 1969 build date.

Included parts:  Parts included with the sale of the car and shown in the picture are center console A/T shifter assembly with rod and pivot linkage, center console rear floor mount, trunk lock with linkage and cover, fuel tank straps with J-bolts, fuel filler neck, spare tire bracket with rod and wingnut, 3-speed wiper motor, sunvisors, rear view mirror, x-bracing for behind the rear seat, emergency cable bracket for inside the left rear frame rail, rear seat lower mount brackets, interior door and quarter panels, 1970 A/T center console with woodgrain top panel, door assemblies, rear passenger inner structure with rear window regulators and guides, trunk lid hinges with structural bracing, and a good trunk lid with minor swelling in the lower rear pinch weld.

Not pictured and also included are glass quarter windows and a rear window to replace the lexan.

Front tires are weather checked and do not hold air for more than a day or two.

Vin tag, fender tag, and all body numbers match and I have a clear title in my name.  Please e-mail or call 307-689-4343 if you would like additional photos or have any questions.
