Correct me if I'm wrong, but 42,500 is a little steep for what is there.?

There is another 35k plus with paint, and interior and still rear quarters.

I don't do this professionally so I'm having a hard time with the numbers this car shows. What say you Alan?

Mr Cuda

If I'm not mistaken,  this belongs to a forum member.
That price with all the parts, fitting,  and labor is probably a good value from what was spent.
Now, I have modern classics to drive for all that modern stuff and I prefer  my  cudas all mean and nasty , and hard to drive, (you know,  a man's car lol) so not a buyer, but...
I just wish the  owner  finished it to realised how awesome  it would have been,  not sold it half way there.

I'm not sure what a used engine/transmission is worth ? $5k-$8K ? $10K complete maybe ?
The front suspension is at least $5K with another $2K brakes
Rad/fans other components $2.5K

I would guess over $20K in parts  :dunno:

Then it looks like a lot of sheet metal has been done, and it is running/driving....although he makes no mention (pictures) of rear suspension/brakes etc...

We all know project Cudas aren't getting any cheaper...I agree to bad he needs to bail...maybe he just has burn out....and needs a break...or go do some burn outs  :D

Seems to me the labor is what takes the hit in cost.  You said 20K in parts, I figured 25K.
Labor, who knows.  Apparently the labor's value is around 20K.
Every time I sell a car I recoup my parts and original purchase price.  I never seem to make a dollar towards my labor.

Now, if I'm building you a custom dream home it is a different story.

I suppose since I am not a good car salesman that I'm bias.

You forgot the value of the car ...aftermarket parts are likely $20K+
