Well that's a lot more than I paid for mine before starting on it 20 years ago  :D - but a lot less than I hope its worth when I'm done . It looks in similar condition to what I started with - maybe better outside but worse inside - more complete as mine was a bit in pieces and boxes when it arrived.  :))

I personally kink of like the '74 360 cars. Last of the line ... end of an era. Be pretty cool to land the last 360 E-body ever made ...
Cheers!

Tis' better to have owned classic Mopars and lost than to have never owned at all (apologies to Alfred Lord Tennyson)

That would be cool - well this one was in the factory at the same time as mine likely - I see a 212 on the tag which I think is the day they were made? or the car assembled? - mine is 211 with an MDH on the door 020114 - which must be the MDH the tag was made. My serial number is also a 304 on the first 3 digits... but this one came after mine by a few hundred.

I saw this 74 360 MT at the Nationals last summer.  The owner caught me drooling and was nice enough to talk to me.  If I remember the details correctly....he ordered it in November of 73 when he was 18.  He had intended to buy a Challenger, but the Dodge dealership laughed at him for his age, so he went to the Plymouth dealership and got some respect.  I think he said that he received the car much later into 1974 due to a trucker or freight strike that delayed the shipping to him.  I told him I thought he made a perfect order with respect to the colors and the option boxes he checked.  Super nice guy.  Hoping to run into him again this year.

That a nice car on eBay, missing a lot of original stuff under the hood. You'd have to be 40-50 K when your done restoring this considering your starting so high. It's a bit frustrating that the cost to restore a car cost basically the same no matter what year but the value when your done is not the same for every year. It's just mind blowing what people are asking and getting for project cars.

Yes: I agree the factory 360 cars are special, last kick at the cat so to speak and I believe the 360 ran better than the locomp 340's did.
