I actually helped with this car back before MCACN.  It is a legit, sitting in a barn for 30 years.  If you have any questions, let me know.

Looking forward to some more things coming out of that treasure trove ... hope it doesn't take forever.  :fingerscrossed:
Cheers!

Tis' better to have owned classic Mopars and lost than to have never owned at all (apologies to Alfred Lord Tennyson)

Oh how I dream of finding just one of these type of barns in my lifetime.   That looks like a dream.

I don't know what it will sell for but I saw a post on FB that the Reserve is $65k, and that he'd prefer to sell it off EBay.

Looking at the eBay auction again, I don't see where it says that there is a reserve ?

I would say $65K is reasonable, likely considered a pretty good deal... :dunno:

Interesting, you're exactly right Alan!  I'm sure it had a reserve before, but maybe the bidding has gone past their reserve?  Or they lifted it?  With still a few days to go before the end of the auction, and with how close the bidding is to their reserve, I have a feeling the car will be pulled and sold offline before the auction ends.

I would just like to see a car like this get a nice restoration it deserves :alan2cents:

I'm sure it will.  It seems to be known in the hobby, doesn't look to be too bad a foundation, and one could still take some time to collect the Hemi and A32 specific parts that are missing, without breaking the bank.

Since it's NOM, and will have had sheetmetal replacement, it's not likely to be an OE Gold candidate so the next owner could use quality reproduction parts without any guilt.

anlauto

I wonder who bought it ?  Like I said, would be nice to see it restored. :drooling:

Yes: I hope it gets restored someday. Everything I see has to be changed though. It's going to cost a bunch and even 66 Hemi blocks are notorious for cracking. The right guy will love it back into shape though.
