That car has been advertised for sale since the Obama presidency, or maybe it was Bush?  :P

RUNCHARGER

Yup: When values come up to where it might possibly, longshot sell, they tack another mill to the asking. I guess it's neat that it's early but no road lights, white and I think it doesn't have rocker moldings all kill the appeal for me.
I'm sure it will sell in the next 50 years though.

For the asking price, the trunk repaint could have been done better. The shaker sure has a glossy paint on it.

That car resided in the National Auto and Truck Museum in Auburn, Indiana for many years.  I saw it there back in the mid 2000's

Why isn't it in The Brothers Collection ?

If the Brothers wanted that cuda they surely would have bought it years ago.  It would seem that they aren't very impressed with it. :dunno:

I think that code is N85, Tach? M85, Front and rear bumper guards are not available on a 'cuda model, because of the road lamps being a standard part of the 'cuda model. Front bumper guards and road lamps do not fit together.

I also just noticed the headliner sure is a mess.

It was the same way back when I saw it.  A shame for such a car with that pedigree.  Just shows you how much the owner doesn't car about the car.

Yours for only $2.2 million...

a discounted price from the $4,501,000.00 he wanted ~15 years ago  it is probably best that it hasn't been restored under current ownership - IMO most of the car's unique "PRE-PRODUCTION-PILOT-CAR" details would've been destroyed/lost/ignored during a budget or "2000's style restoration"

that's "M85" on the fender tag ....... again "pre-production" it's not going to be a typical hemi'cuda  :wowzers:

build date isn't 8/1/69, IT IS MUCH EARLIER ....... and it is NOT the 3rd 'cuda built, IT IS THE 3rd ASSIGNED VIN    :crazytalk:

Good info Dan. The ad states it is unrestored. It also states it has had one repaint in the original color. Wouldn't that repaint no longer qualify it as "Unrestored"? Also, wouldn't some of the car's unique details have been lost? Just wondering.
