Beautiful car but the steel wheels/hubcaps don't do the car justice. It's not original anyway so do something to jazz it up. Too much black can hurt a car if it's not original. Just my take on it.

:iagree:
Ya, never understood the point of putting plain steel wheels 'n' hubcaps on a muscle car. Station wagon..or a Prius..OK. But not a muscle car. Put anything else on that car and it will look better.  :alan2cents:

The car looks real nice and 71 convertible Challengers are my favorite E-bodies but when I see 472 "crate" Hemi it makes me real nervous.

IMO any Mopar "crate" Hemi that hasn't been thoroughly gone through and checked out by a pro is a ticking time bomb. :alan2cents:

If it had red interior and red stripe it would be killer!

Sweet car.

Would be amazing w/black interior and black side stripe.

Good luck!

I really like the way that looks. Usually I don't like dog dishes either, especially on a convt. but this car looks great to me.

I think rallies would have looked nicer

I agree with a red interior and stripe and some nice wheels the car would look great and probably sell faster. Do you really think $75,000 is to high for a 71 Hemi Vert clone ? Isn't that about what they usually sell for ?

HEMI vert's rock !      that is all......

"CLONE" ? I thought that meant a copy of something that existed ?

Nobody has touched on the fact that 1971 R/T convertibles never existed in the first place, let alone a Hemi convertible.

That's why the side scoops and R/T stripes look out of place.

I think $75K is a pretty fair deal for a nice cruiser. :alan2cents:

Agreed.  You can't clone something that never existed.  I've been toying with the idea of building a '70 Challenger T/A 'vert for that very reason.  I don't like clones.  But this 71 is nice and unique.
