I have seen this car for sale off and on since the fall of 1998.
I talked to the Owner with the Health issues.
Sad story to loose one's sight.
VIN is extremely high for a 1st Build example. And
I realize it was un Vinned.
Historice piece though.
Hope it goes in a museum.

Been around a long time.  And what exactly would they be 'tooling" in 1974?  :notsure:  Why doesn't it have all the factory dip lines that were used back in that period?

Also, everyone knew the E-Body was going away.  It was a huge surprise when they brought it back for 1974.

Whoever thought they were doing it justice by assembling it made a big mistake...might as well just paint it and get it over with....New Hemi...resto-mod

Seems odd to me that Alan would build a resto mod out of it when everything has to be dead nuts original in his world .

I agree, the value it had as an artifact has now been lost. I see the current value being whatever all the nice sheetmetal is worth, nothing more.
Cody brings up a really good point about what would be the need for a tooling body for a series of cars that had no sheetmetal changes too.
