Is this a realistic asking price for a 74 or a little optimistic?

It's only worth what a buyer will pay.  :notsure:  In reality I got no clue.

These days, wouldn't surprise me if he got near that

Wow on the asking.
Would like to see the actual sell price.

I`ve seen `72-74s asking for more but asking price is not always selling price. As always it depends on the quality of the car, options etc. The owner says 9/10 but hard to tell from those pics and really need to see in person. It`s just a 318 car and engine bay looks dark, maybe painted black or just shadows?

It cost more then that to restore it that's for sure! They're asking 10K for junk nowadays!

Yes it appears engine bay is black.
That would drop the 9/10 quickly.

:iagree:  and if by "original Zebart" he means Ziebart undercoating, unless the holes have been welded up and refinished that would also drop that 9/10 number for me.

I've wondered about the Ziebart cars.  The attached photos are from a 73 BH.  Looks like they spray the engine bay.
