Oh mine. This remind me of my 72 Challenger in high school which was in better shape than this back in 80. Mine had a white vinyl top, no hood letters, no front bumper guards but same fender lights, AC. I had console shift auto instead of column shift. 318 will come with 904 and not 727. $28k seems a bit too much.

Second owner and has original Santa Cruz surface rust...lol. $28k is asking. Willing to bet you could knock $5k off that out of the gate.

Seems high for a flat hood Challenger >71... I hope they get it :)

LoL

It's in really good shape for a nearly fifty year old car in a coastal town.

The colors are not that desirable. The 1972's don't have the big bumper issue. So, I think the 1972 E-bodies have a little more value over the latter years.

Super looking car. Price seems high alright, I'm not seeing the need for any offshore tin though other than a new hood. I suppose the saving on body panels and welding wire might even out in the end.

I saw this one in an earlier post. Pretty sharp car actually. Agree that it's priced a little high but what isn't these days. If anything this whole COVID thing we're going through I believe that the market is higher lately than before. Maybe it's about our mortality or something and just trying to enjoy life.

Anyways the gold and black combo is pretty cool and would look great in a rallye package.

I always wonder when seeing these more common regular option cars. What went through owners minds to keep them. Something in them I would like to believe is an affection for the looks of them. It wasn't a high hp badass muscle car but it sure was cool enough to put effort and time into keeping it. I'm sure there's a cool story there.

The y3 gold interior is super cool!

Funny how I used to hate gold as it seemed every pontiac I picked up would be gold.  (still have two).
I had a 72 chally with this y3 gold that I sold to HP2 here on the board.  It grew on me.
As the years have gone by I've come to like the gold interiors.
And I've really liked the gold interiors that are on other exterior colored cars.  I saw a tx9 exterior with y3 interior.  Super cool look!

I don't think the price is too much out of line.  I mean, find something else that compares.
Wish this was a cuda,

^^X2 Cuda Hunter. Seller is asking almost fair market price and they left a wee bit of wiggle room.

If he gets 27k for this my brother could get 40k for his. Like I said, I hope they get it.
