The 125 sounds good.  Now, how far down will the offer drop,  with engine,  color,  options?  Throwing numbers like that around might shake things loose.
The wife says she will keep the orange car after I'm gone.  But she'd have the others to console herself with.

You have a good budget and should be able to find a good car for 125K
The problem is there is just not a lot of good cars out there for sale.

Be patient and keep networking.

I have been looking for a good 70 340 4 Speed Cuda for several years now and I have yet to run across one yet. I have friends helping me too.
I have bought and sold a few pretty good cars building up my war chest.

Love the look of your 72, but it's a long way from being a 71 Cuda    Can't believe you want to sell it after only three months
