1970-71 convertible water deflectors

Ever wonder what these black plastics are for? They are convertible top water deflectors.

Often found at the bottom of the quarter window regulator jammed against the sheet metal. Blocking the factory water drains.

Here are some pictures to help you install them correctly.

These are also hard to come across at swap meets, and are often times over looked during a restoration.

PG Classic's has stepped up to the plate with reproductions, however very over priced in my option for a simple piece of plastic.

Quarter window up
With and without rear interior panel installed.

It just deflects water to prevent it from draining into the rear passenger compartment.
