General question for the members:

What is the most obscure fact that you care to share about the E-Body Convertible. 🧐

While numbers vary a bit by source .... there were about 2700 AAR Cudas built and a little over 1900 Barracuda and 'Cuda convertibles produced in 1970. Making the convertibles (especially 340 and above) much more rare than even the coveted AAR.  Nearly 4,000 Challenger and Challenger R/Ts built and only 2,400 TAs. Kind of interesting 'Cuda convertible production was so low. :brainiac:  :thinking:

Unlike B body convertibles, E body convertibles look good with the top up too, whereas B bodies look sort of ugly with the top up.
That is certainly an obscure fact, as how many E body verts are seen with the top up?  My Challenger is rarely seen in public unless it's down!  :D

I read this thread on the facebook page and it had a lot of interesting differences between the hardtop and convertible model . . . here are some:

Different glass in the doors, sun visors, rear view mirror, rear panels, rear seat, support channel in the rockers, rear seat moved forward, different light package, spare tire location and more!  So many differences between the two! 
Drive it like you stole it . . . And they're CHASING you!

I have a buddy with a Coronet vert...... ugly with the top up  :yes:

1971 was the last year you can get a four-seat convertible from Chrysler until the Sebring came out in the mid-90s.

Didn't the second generation LaBaron convertibles of the early 80s have a back seat?
