1970 cuda gas cap

In 1970 there were 2 gas caps used on cudas w/o emissions. 3466826 was used with the vapor separator & 3404498 was used without the vapor separator. The vapor separator was used with 440-6 & 426 engines. Neither part number was used in 1971. I check in the Wise book & they don't have any notes about this unless I missed something.

Does anybody know what might be different on these 2 caps? I'm changing my NOW 440-6 to the vapor system to help cure some of the problems with our heat here in Tucson
