1971 340 e-bodies with 22" VS. 26" radiators

I have a dec 71 final revision that shows the same thing. No 340 22 Rad listed. may have been just a typo. ??

Lol.. i have seen worse.. I know of a few factory BS23V1B cars with 22" rad from factory.. not many of those.

Boy, I don't like the thought of a V-Code with a 22" radiator.  :Thud:  Seems like trouble just waiting to happen.  But they made them so they must have believed it would work.

I've got a 71 originally a 340 with a replaced aluminum 26" radiator. Build sheet has 69 under "RAD." I have no idea what that means.

@rebelyell  a 69 on a 1971 build sheet would have meant the vehicle got a 26" Radiator part # 3443969 and it was used on 318's and 340's.   :bigthumb:
