1974 production numbers please ???

I find all kinds of numbers across the web.  Can someone please tell me the correct production numbers for the 74 bh and bs barracuda's.

Production numbers can come in several different flavors - so its important to know where the numbers come from. Sometimes if could be Total Production, other times its US production, and then it could be cars delivered to US dealerships. What about Canadian production or cars delivered to Canada? Two different things. Chrysler has/had a plant in Windsor, Ontario. Many cars produced there were shipped to the US, while cars made in the US were shipped to Canada. All very confusing until a person sits down and studies the logistics. I have just started looking at the 1972 model year and its keeping me very busy!

To answer your question, GG has the total numbers which 6bblgt gave you. He also lists a break down of engines and transmission combos - but those are not Total numbers, they are cars shipped to US dealerships. Additionally, these shipped to US dealership numbers are produced from an options and accessories report that reports option installations in percentages - so there are going to be rounding errors. Notice when you add up all the 318 and 360 cars - you come up with a number that is a few more or less than the posted total.
