70 Challenger Dash Pad

What are we doing in todays world with getting quality Dash Pads for a 1970 Challenger. I heard ABC may have backorders. Just Dashes long time. Anyone with good luck with others.

Ordered mine through Year One last month and they were 6 - 8 weeks. So that will be my winter project.

I have a core that I'd be willing to sell, but assume that doesn't really help any with backlog (since it needs restored). It is a '70, 3-speaker, A/C dash. Located in Houston and guessing that shipping would be a lot so possibly not worth it. Anyway, if anyone is interested let me know.

Not that I'm aware of, I've never bought an ABS core pad before...

I'm curious, is the ABS core an improvement, and why? Or is it just cheaper. I'm not positive what an ABS core is, LOL, does that mean not metal?

Plastic core.  I've never heard anything positive about them.

Abs is junk don't do it . They warp and have no integrity to install the panel light bar wait for the steel core one.

Not that I'm aware of, I've never bought an ABS core pad before...

Interesting, I didn't see a steel core option for an Ebody on their website.
