I purchased an NOS Grill for my 70 Cuda from another ebodies.org member, and I wanted to match the flat black used on the backside and center section of the grill to do some touch-up. The black on the back and center is the same paint.

It took me a couple hours to match the black paint but I was able to get a dead-on match. I used an air-brush to fog it in and you cannot tell. I thought I'd post the "recipe" incase anyone else wanted to match an NOS grill, or re-paint their existing. Here's what I did:

2 oz. PPG DDL9300 (Black Lacquer)
3 oz. DX265 Flattening Agent
1.5 oz. DTL16 Lacquer Thinner (Cool Temp 50-65 degrees F)

Sprayed at 25 psi. Shop Temp: 70 degrees.

Lightly fogged it in the areas that had "box wear" and/or scratches. The repair is invisible.

Hope this helps someone else...
