I have a few correct colour questions

What colour should the dust shield for a manual be? Bare metal?

Z bar colour?

Shifter rods?

Are hood latches and hood springs body colour or a different colour

And last I read that only automatic cars got that plastic starter shield? If that correct?

What colour should the dust shield for a manual be? Bare metal? Yes. it's usually a galvanized metal

Z bar colour? I've seen silver cad most cases

Shifter rods? like a black phosphate

Are hood latches and hood springs body colour or a different colour never body colour always plated, like brown for the latch and black for the pop-up spring

And last I read that only automatic cars got that plastic starter shield? If that correct? YES

Black for the hood pop up spring? I don't think I ever saw one black. I've always seen them body color but then again can't remember seeing an unrestored original . Speaking about color, the restoration guide says the K frame is semigloss black but I notice the (hate to say this ) the ones on Graveyard Cars look gloss black . What is correct?
