Hi everyone,
I was hoping Cuda Cody could help on this one. I read a topic on this not sure when it was posted but you had provided some really good info on it. In cleaning up my dash working on some wiring, I noticed a blue bulb on the Headlamp assembly on my 70' T/A. Is this a regular option or is this part of the A01 option. I have no Broadcast sheet with my car so..
Thanks,

I'm at work right now but will do so later in the Evening. One more thing, Is there any difference between the A31 Cooling system compared to the A36 package? Again not having a Broadcast sheet is difficult to know what the car's original Equipment came with. It has the "974" Rad and the 7 blade Clutch fan and the original 3400048 Leaf springs, but has a 741 center section. Original is long gone but i'd like to know if it was 3:91 or 3:55.
Thanks

Well, then it must have been a 3.91. :)

Can you be a little more specific ? I'm not sure what this means "noticed a blue bulb on the Headlamp assembly"

Are we outside the car at the headlamps, or inside near the headlamp and other switches ????

There should be lots of clues as to whether or not you have the A01 light group...like map light, trunk light, etc...

No way to tell for sure the rear axle ratio without a broadcast sheet. If it has the original transmission you could try checking the speedo drive gear for a clue. :dunno:
I've taught you everything you know....but I haven't taught you everything I know....

Especially if it's a 4 speed..  Great combo..

Her's a picture of the assembly that Cuda Cody put up on a previous post. Unfortunately I am not able to post mine but it looks exactly the same.

that's the STANDARD "flood light" for the heater controls

Arctoad

Ok thanks I seen it and the panel bulbs for the dash that are on the dimmer for the interior light but didn't see the glove box light or trunk light harness. What does the key light look like in the steering column?

T/As and AARs had their own STANDARD axle package (they are NOT A36/A31) the STANDARD gear ratio was 3.55:1 with OPTIONAL 3.91:1 at no charge

lacking paperwork, the best (ONLY ??) clue would be the speedometer pinion (if original) 35-tooth ("orange" w/3.55s) VS. 39-tooth ("green" w/3.91s)
