AAR/TA Detail Question

Yes the spatter paint was added by another owner, but the trunk pan appears original as you look from the underside, and that spatter paint can be removed fairly easily to see the blue paint underneath. I agree that those slotted screws look like they were added for some reason. I will look for the plate today. You have to see the car in it's entirety. It's mostly original paint based on my paint gauge readings and discussions with Frank Badalson.

No metal plate under my trunk floor

My car had seam sealer/filler in the holes there in the pan. Because the car was repainted, I'm not sure if originally like that or not, but I k is for sure the floor pan is original
