I don't think I've had my rear passenger interior panel off in the past 40 or so years, but I'm glad some other project had me pulling the panels this weekend.

Found not one but TWO "Rock" signatures- one on the wheelhouse and one on the quarter window sheet metal panel.

Any ideas what the scrawl under "Rock" on the wheelhouse might be (the 'm' with a slash)?

BTW- that old body seam sealer doesn't hold up too well.

The guy was pretty full of himself back in the day... 8)

Maybe there's others..  Say a 1977 Cordoba with "Disco sucks' on the panels.

That's how it works on an assembly line...you tell the next guy ahead so he'll get you a relief person...

Rock must of had a buddy on the assembly line.

That's awesome to see some more doodles.  Rock's none the less.

The M with a slash looks like a stick man laying missionary on a stick woman.
My interpretation anyway.

Perhaps you guys wouldn't mind posting your doodles over here on this thread that  I made just to try to track some of the many factory doodles.

another possible -
Rock may have been the guy who was going to perform a repair - what ever it was?
when I worked in a sheet metal shop - for repairs if we wanted someone special we would mark it for him only -  :alan2cents:

@440WB  That makes the most sense of all the ideas of who rock is.  Truly sounds like the correct scenario.
