I use Maguire's Quick Detailer, a microfiber cloth and some elbow grease and the bugs and their juice come right offf.

For massive amounts of Bug attacks:

First step: WD 40

2nd step: Wax & grease remover.

3rd step: Wax your choice.

You can do Bug tar remover but on heav stuff, it's not the best.

Those fabric softener sheets that your wife throws in the dryer work well too.  Take one out of the dryer and wet it. It will wipe the bugs off fairly easily.

I went on a 6 hr drive last fall and front of the convertible was covered with bugs. Someone suggested to spray on window cleaner and let it sit there for a while, then spray on again and wipe off the bugs.  It worked surprisingly well!

Some great tips here..... and no discoloration from the bounce sheet or the window cleaner?

No problem with the paint using the dryer sheets.  You just have to clean off the soapy film that the sheet leaves behind.
