Hello, I am currently in the midst of the building of my 70 Barracuda. It will be a Hemi-Cuda clone, it was Originally a B7 white vinyl top and all white interior. I just finished painting the shell in the original B7 and I am leaning towards going with the black vinyl top. I intend to stay with the standard split bench setup and I prefer the white interior since it's different to all my other mopars yet I don't think it would look good, or at least I am having a hard time picturing it. Did that combination ever exist from the factory? If so does anyone have any examples they could share? Thank you!

If you do a Google search on 1970 cuda B7 blue & then hit image, you'll see lots of B7 cars with white & black roofs. Some with stripes & some without.....Joe

Looks good either way.  Black is way easier to care for.
Definitely came both ways from factory.
My challenger has a white interior with a black top and a white bumble bee stripe on the rear.

Looks great now with b7 top!!

Awesome car.   Do you have a restoration write up?   Would love to follow along with your progress and process.

Mr Cuda

It's a mopar, so almost any combo could have been ordered.
I have a K5, white interior with black top.
That car looked really clean as a starting point. Did that come out of oregon at one time?

You can find examples online via google:  "1970 Cuda B7".  In your cars case, my first preference is no vinyl top but if you must have one I prefer black.  Your car looks fantastic!

Thanks for all the great responses. I will definitely create a restoration write up, great idea. The car is originally from California and I bought it from a broker in 2011 so it's been in Texas ever since. I have done several google searches but I couldn't find any blue cars with a black vinyl top and white interior. I did see an Orange and a yellow I believe but yes good point that any combination could be had back then.

I'm having the same trouble, I'm only getting black interior cars

I`ve seen them both ways but IMO the white top looks better, of course your car, your choice.

First - the repaint is awesome - beautiful color.  Personally, I would go white vinyl or leave it painted.  I don't love the black over the blue, and the white top is just such a cool vibe. :alan2cents:

White would most likely be the colour of choice here in southern Arizona. :) One of my cars has a Parchment (white) vinyl top....Joe

The closest I could find for a black vinyl top, white interior, blue barracuda was this - 1970 'Cuda V02 Painted Top. It's post #4.
