Challenger Transport- Northern CA. to Detroit

I have a cool 70 Challenger RT sunroof car I need to get from CA. to MI.
It was disassembled 30 years ago & the powertrain is out of it too.
It is complete but would require a enclosed carrier at least 26' long.
Long shot here but I thought I'd post this & see if anyone is heading
east from the west coast, north of Sacramento, to the Michigan area.
Alan & Dave are patiently waiting to tear into it.
Any ideas are greatly appreciated!

What's the time frame?  @Bills Auto Works  may be able to build a run out of it, but I think he's pretty full for the next few months. 

Is the car a roller with all the parts inside the car, or will it need some parts packed separately from the body?

Hey Cody, most parts will be packed either in the car or in containers.
The Challenger is on dollies so that is not a issue. I may have to get it
moved within 30 days so timing will be important. Tx.

Good luck buddy!  If I had a bit more time I would offer to grab it and drive it over there.  Love that drive and spring the spring / summer it's pretty easy with the long days.

We have had some pretty interesting (bullshit) experiences with haulers.  Mostly have used Freightquote and Uship on cars we have sold, we will not price out haulers ever again, we have the buyer do it.  They 100% of the time tack on bogus fees once they quote it, even if they know it is non-op and some freight needs to go as well.  And if you use those sites, your phone will ring all day trying to get the load.  I know you are just trying to get a car from A to B, so it would be nice to find someone going that way empty.

No the VIN isn't sequential, but it does fill in the "bookends" Two N code 383's, one auto, one four speeds and now two U codes one auto, one four speed....

If anybody knows of a J code or V code 70 Challenger with a sunroof for sale....we would like to hear about it

  I have been transporting for 34 years (conservatively 2000 vehicles) & I could fill a notebook with all the stories customers have told me about the "Scumbags & Scam Artists" in my industry. Cody knows first hand what I am talking about!

  Dependable Auto Shippers will promise you the world & then your vehicle will sit in an outside storage lot until the get enough vehicles going your direction to fill a truck. Numerous times I have had customers forefit their deposit & send me to the storage location to pick up the vehicle, in some cases after a couple of months. If you use Uship, not only are they mostly brokers, but if you give your phone number or email for quotes, you will be bothered for months afterwards!

  I wish I could do it for you, but I already have one coming out of Los Angeles going to New Jersey & except for something to get me out there & a spot open from Florida, I am booked solid until after the 4th of July holiday.

Yes Sir,
   I recommend very few other transporters as I want them to also give the quality personalized service that I believe I provide as well. Two of the three others I would recommend are booked up as long or longer than I am. This fellow (Doc Schwarz) is based in the Detroit area, he does not run as hard as I do & may be able to help. He has a single car enclosed trailer & I have sent many of my overflow his way. I also checked back with a couple of my good customers to make sure everything went OK & they all said they were pleased with his service
