Did the crossover shaft for the clutch have 4 nylon or bronze bushing/bearings for the ball stud on the frame & block? Thank you, Joe

When I converted my '72 to a 4 speed using factory parts, I had (4) nylon female ball bearings.

Two at each end to engage the ball stud on the tranny and two at the frame ball stud.

Thank you. I found the crossover shaft was about to fall of the car giving a feel of no bushings. The big nut on the frame rail could be removed by hand & the one on the block took about an 1/8 of a turn to tighten. I was wondering why the clutch required so many adjustments. Avanti, next project.....Joe

The only thing flat earthers fear, is sphere itself.
