Difference in Dana drive shaft vs 8.75 Challenger drive shaft

Curious what the difference is between the two? Is one longer?

4spd Challenger with Dana vs 8.75 in a Challenger.

44.60" vs 45.60" from CL of u-joint bearing bores.
Dana shaft is 1" shorter because Dana is bigger and pinion yoke sits about 1" farther forward.
