Pursuing eBay and came across this firewall support that I was unaware of. I assume this goes to the left of the pedal assembly and do the studs come from the cabin side or the engine side of the firewall?

Any installed pictures?

The plate sits on the engine side, only fits comfortable one way and the studs go through the firewall into the interior. The clutch pedal bracket has two holes for the studs and nuts.

Yup.  That's what it is.     I'll try to get a photo of it installed tonight.

Usually hides behind the power brake booster unless you have manual brakes....
