Want to order a set of hood pins for my 74 Challenger. Was originally a 318, now has 360 with bulge hood. Car also has fender signals if that has any bearing.

Roseville Moparts has several kits available with lanyards from 18 to 25 inches. Lil help which is correct for my application?

Thx

Just ask @MoparDave  and he'll know what one you need.  If you get the wrong one, the lanyard can rub the paint raw on the fenders from being to long.  The Cuda's were longer to clear the header panel.  The Challengers were shorter.

Witht he Challenger you can tuck the lanyard under the front of the hood & run it in the gap along the side of the hood so it will not rub the paint at least  :bigthumb:

There is no such thing as a "correct" kit for a 74 Challenger since hood pins were never and option in 74.  Dave can get you something that will work for your application though.

:iagree:Thought the same thing, but he asked what would fit!  :haha:

Dave was indeed very helpful. He recommended the kit with the 23 inch lanyards, I ordered it. There was a good thread on hood pins here some years ago:
