According to what I was told at the show they used AM Hot Rod Glass polycarbonate for the car and they had to perform multiple fittings to get it right. I know this shop's work and their standards are VERY high so I imagine this was extreme OCD attention to detail to make it look factory original / correct.. I was also told those are stock openings, that the sheetmetal was not modified for the glass. I considered doing it myself, but I know I couldn't get it to look that good and the cost is pretty high.

It was much easier to modified the window channel to flush mount factory glass, likely much cheaper as well :alan2cents:

I have seen the modified channels and it looks just fine to me. Not sure why they took the AM Hot Rod Glass path, but it sounds like quite a chore to get it absolutely perfect.

Agree this is an astounding build.
Even color of choice is spot on.
Also agree wheels look too cartoonish in size. Not my style.
Second is the black trim above side glass stands out too much and detracts from overall look.

I agree, in the pictures it looks like they just powder coated the factory trim  ::)

Yes it stands out and screams we ran out of time, money and need to finish this...
It doesn't match flush mounted front and rear glass. All or nothing here.
