Since my 1970 Challenger is a restomod, I've been thinking about putting a badge in the place of the R/T on the front grill.  Anyone done this before and what do you think.  Thanks

Super cool idea for your car Jim! You've done a few things to that car that would make this work. It wouldn't work on every car. I vote for the second one. Try reversing the black and silver and see what it looks like. Then post it up here.

Thanks ... I got the idea from a British friend.  They put all kinds of badges on their cars: fraternities, etc.

I think that will look better. What does it look like if you put it inside a Pentastar?

Or what about a red image on a silver base with no outline like the R/T logo?

:haha: So many options.  There are actually a lot of shops that badge their restorations.  I was just wondering if anybody we know does it.

Badges are pretty cool.
I hope someone shows up and can make some. I'm in.

We could make e-bodies.org badges.  They would be easy to put on and take off the grill with pins or just get some with 3M tape on the back.

Sounds like a good idea to me Jim, why not? Replacing the R/T with your own personal badging sure why not!? I've had custom badges on mine for years brings knowing smiles and acceptance from Mopar show attendees. Mine deal with what's under the hood.   Thanks,   Al

Great idea, they both look good to me. And yes would make a great gift shop item also.

I put custom ones on the hood too.
