Drip Edge Confusion

Hoping someone can give me some guidance on the drip edge setup for my 71 Barracuda.  It was originally a vinyl top car, not sure if that makes a difference. 

I have two separate sets and originally thought one was for another car.  One set has three separate pieces, with a wider face, that come apart.  The other set is thinner in profile, is two pieces, but doesn't come apart naturally.  Both have remnants of the original paint, so I'm assuming they're used in tandem?

I didn't plan on doing the vinyl top so I'm not sure.if that changes which are used.

The one set of trim will go on and cover the drip rail. The second will go on after and it is what hold's the weather strip for the windows .
The last photo is the one that hold's the weather strip.

Make sure you get the right gaskets to install them.

Detroit Muscle sells the kit you need to install them with no leaks. I used them and they worked great.

Do these require any type of caulking or do the gaskets like the ones DMT sells do the job alone?

Just the gaskets.If you doing a vinyl top make sure the drip rail lines up to the vinyl top trim.
