This real T/A rolled in the shop today for a blinker repair. The owner bought it when he was 17 in 1978 with no motor. Now it has 505 ci stroker.  The paint job is 20 years old and still looks amazing.

Definitely a "Wild TA", not exactly my flavor of tea.... However, I bet that car screams.

Are the fender tags backwards?

Neat car, definitely paint and rims look like there from 70's. He's even got the tach mounted on the dash. Looks to be in very good shape. Just goes to show there's still some gold nuggets out there. Very cool.

I'm confused... Took the wiper motor off the firewall, took the voltage regulator off the firewall... But mounted the MSD on the firewall.....

Actually after looking closer it looks like there's nothing plugged into the bulkhead connectors so I'm guessing it doesn't run?

With exception of wiper motor it's possible they are mounted on the inside?

I like the paint other than the half bumble bee stripe in the back. Man, what would you do with that car if you owned it though, it would be a quandary for me.

The paint and stance of the car screams 70's for sure. There were several different makes of cars at my high school painted in a simular  style, and we all ran the 7" wheels on front and 10" wheels with 50's on the back. It was the Pro Stock look thank you Ronnie Sox and for getting NHRA to run that class starting in 1970. The Cuda I just brought home 2 weeks ago has the 7" on front and the 10" with 50's on back. Old school look I like it.

The look is cool all right. In our town there was a 71 R/T, Six Pack 4 speed shaker car that had the headers, F60's on the front and N50's on the rear. It had the Street Machine look but I look back now and think man that was a rare car to do that to.

I'm a fan of your car your way, but if I ever got so lucky as to find one like this...... I think you just gotta bring it back to it's original glory. These cars from the factory are just so so cool!

I would leave it this way....unless it was ratty looking, then I would restore it.
