The new owner call me and said he finally got my old Challenger delivered. He was very very happy with the car. He said it was nicer that he thought and was very surprised and happy with the way it looked and sounded. Has to be pretty scary to spend that much money on a car that you never saw in person or from a person you never met from 2500 miles away. You hear so many horror stories of people getting bondo barges- underneath rusted out-don't run worth a crap when they receive their new purchases. I told him it needed some cleaning up and detailing as I let it sit for almost a year so he had it delivered directly to his detailing shop who does the rest of his cars.

Yea..that's great news....you never know what someone's expectations are either....and it's always nice to hear it was much better then they expected.

I have heart issues and could no longer keep up with the maintenance on 2 cars so I sold them both before my wife would have to deal with them.

The fellow got a great car and I'm sure he'll look after it. You won't have to see it all the time so it's all good. I don't really miss my old cars except once in awhile. It would bug me if I seen them getting modified or not looked after though.
