In 1970 did some E-Bodies come with a metal Started Shields?

So would a T/A with manual steering have a steel one or the regular plastic one?
The parts manual lists one part number and does not specify between steel or plastic.

If it is an Auto T/A it would be Metal shield. 4 Speed T/A would be plastic like all other E-Bodies. The Automatic trans T/A's and AAR's are the only ones that got the metal shield regardless of the steering.

No four speed E Bodies got the shield, plastic or metal. This was an automatic thing only.
