Well I thought I had seen it all but then I saw this picture. What do you guys think is this against CODE? Has MOPAR law been broken or did the sticker company send him the wrong stripes and he just said screw it I am putting them on? What the hell :o

I don't get it, why not just put on T/A stripes? Why AAR stripes? It's ass backwards why would you want to be ass backwards? Would you buy a Cuda and put a T/A stripe that says T/A? I don't know it is just wrong horribly wrong.

Some of the new challengers have hoods that look like an AAR.  :notsure: struck me a little funny, but those aren't ebodies. :('

Yup and the door panels look like Cuda's also. Even Dodge on the new T/A's put the Cuda style AAR hood on them instead of T/As. They can get away with it with the new Challengers as Plymouth is no more so I get that they are making one muscle car with reto stylings from both Cuda and Challenger.

Makes it "1 of 1" and thus more valuable!
Cheers!

Tis' better to have owned classic Mopars and lost than to have never owned at all (apologies to Alfred Lord Tennyson)

First time I've even seen someone do that to a Challenger.  I don't hate, but not what I would do.  But overall they did a nice job with it.

@Markp

Finally. I figured out the tag.  Markp, that challenger is looking close to toxic orange.  Ive seen it before online as I spent my 1.5 year color choice hunt.    I know basically everyone on cc voted for burnt orange for you when you asked about colors, including myself.

How is the color battle treating you?

My best guess is you are going to go with purple, call it an educated guess

I have not decided yet but yes your guess is correct I am leaning towards the purple. I can't choose between limelight, Inviolet or deep burnt orange. I think I am going to have to do a custom purple or custom orange. Picking a color is the hardest decision.

When I purchased my 2016 I took the easy way out and went with granite crystal metallic.

You made the right choice in 2016.  You will make the right choice in 2017.  Its not a 71 Hemi so just go with what you love as I remember you saying you, like me, you have no future plans to sell the car.

custom sounds good if done tastefully.  Good luck

Honestly I think I may have to do the old fashioned eenie meenie miney mo to pick the color. That is how confused I have become when it comes to picking a color.

My wife claims I spent 50 hours researching my final color.  It only took 18 months.

I'm thinking you need to wait as it's kind of a major decision.  Especially if you go full Mopar mode and paint the whole stinking car inside out...Deep down you really know...Paint it that color.

Fender tag?  If so, which paint code?

Yeah, the new T/A cars come with an AAR style hood for some reason.
Particularly odd since the T/A style hood was already available from the Drag Pak Challengers.

I've seen an E body 'Cuda fitted with a Challenger T/A hood.   They chopped the front off of it so that it would fit!
