ISO First car 1970 Cuda hey guys, really enjoy the forum and all the info I have learned.. I am trying to track down my first car ever, I bought it when I was 15 and sold it before completing. Love to have the opportunity to buy it back or just to see it if it still exists. trying everything to find it...Short version of its history- 1970 Cuda 340 auto car.. was in central Illinois from 70s to 2006... it was sold as a project in 2006 by a lady in Oakland, IL and the story was sold to a Mopar specialist car place in Michigan. He promised not to part it out but rumor was that he did, I have a hard time believing that he did because it was the most rust free body I have ever seen. That is the last lead I have on in. The vin is Bs23h0b266676 and I will include pics as well of what it looked like in 2006 before being sold to Michigan.... a few unique things about it- had a whole cut in the bulge hood for a tunnel ram back in the 70s and the rear window tracks were cut out as well back in the day(in the 70s my dad ran around with the guy who owned it- he had 410s in it and Cut that stuff out To make it lighter -it didn't hook up well lol) I know it's a long shot but if anyone has any info on it or would have any ideas on how I would run a vin search or anything in Michigan please let me know, it would really mean a lot to find it- Thanks

Cuda Cody

Hope he didn't part it out.  A real 340 Cuda that is clean is pretty hard to find.  And welcome to the forum @beauchamp2408   :welcome:

:welcome: I could not see a rational person parting a car like that out! if now one has registered the car sense, it would not be in the DMV records. Good luck with the search.   :bigthumb:

303 Mopar

Welcome from CO!  There are stories out there of first time owners being reunited with their car. Its tough and difficult but Mopar is a rather small tight community. I hope you find it!

I've had the VIN recorded (but nothing else) for 4-years
- have you just recently been asking around the 'net about it? if not someone else has posted info or asked for a VIN decode somewhere recently  :dunno:
