2018 Challenger Hellcat Widebody

It would look much better if they just flared the fenders and quarters vs this fender flair trend that everyone is calling a "widebody"

I completely agree.  The flares just look tacked on.  However, it's obvious why this was done.  The Challenger is a 10 year old car with just some cosmetic changes to keep things interesting.  I'm sure they've been working on the LX platforms replacement for years now.  The factory isn't going to spend money on designing an entirely new fender/quarter panel for the small number of these that will be built.(small number compared to total Challenger production)

I'm liking it.  It needed wider meats soooo bad.  This is going to really help the car.   

I agree, the car needs more tire for sure and this seems to be helping. I'm sure if you wanted to you could put the new demon wheels and tires on as well. Or find another combo that gives you more sidewall if needed. I'd have to see it in person, but the look is growing on me.
