1970 Hemi Challenger R/T fails to sell...top bid $97.5K.  Reading it's description, one would have thought it was original, but it's a Hemi recreation and who knows if it was an original R/T as well.  That's what I don't like about Mecum's on-line catalogue, they don't give you the VIN.

Who ever built this "World Famous Dave Dudek Hemi Challenger" painted the kick panels the WRONG colour !   

I think $97.5K for a clone is a pretty good...take the money and run price....

Yours would have been correct for a burnt orange interior, but this is a white interior. All white interior E Bodies in 70-71 had black kick panels to match the dash assembly

Agreed!  The paint and stripes are just wrong on this car.  Its too bad as the 340/360 4 speed cars for 72-74 are rare.  Hopefully it gets put back closer to what her true pedigree is.  I'm glad to see them going up in value though!
