what option on the fender tag determines if you get one or two side mirrors? I was talking with a friend today he he heard that all black cars only got one chrome mirror, while other colours could have painted to match mirrors. Also said that black cars always got a argent grill from factory? I know you guys will have the answers.

1970? Challenger (I'm not aware of any restrictions for chrome mirrors)

STANDARD LH manually adjustable chrome mirror
OPTIONAL G31 RH chrome racing mirror $10.95 - ONLY with G33 LH remote chrome racing mirror $15.15
OPTIONAL G32 RH painted racing mirror $10.95 - ONLY with G34 LH remote painted racing mirror $15.15

A04 (Challenger Radio group) included a LH remote racing mirror
A44 (rear window louver package) included a pair of racing mirrors
A53 (TRANS AM package) included a LH remote painted racing mirror

early in the 1970 model year painted mirrors were available for limited colors (EB5, EV2, FE5, FJ5, FY1) - this was expanded to all colors before the introduction of the "TRANS AM" cars

Challenger JH = argent grill
Challenger JH + A53 = black grill
Challenger R/T JS = black grill

@6bblgt Always very helpful information.  :thankyou:

1970 RT/SE - nothing listed on BCS under G3- (only G11 tinted glass and G41 day/night rear view)

My car has painted racing mirrors w/ LH remote. What did my car come with? SPD 508.

Chryco Psycho

Yo have to love that with louvers you get dual mirrors but with SE package you don't  :notsure:

Interesting on the dual mirrors with the louvers.  :drinkingbud:

RUNCHARGER

Yes: If there is ever a car that needed a rh mirror the SE is it. The 70 rh mirrors flopped down and were useless pretty soon from new anyway.

when new your car had the STANDARD manual LH chrome mirror (many well OPTIONED '70 Challengers also had the single manual mirror, mine included - WHY?)
