Need help identifing a part

New to E bodies and can anyone tell me what the small electronic part is near the back of the carb. 2 terminals but only one connectors is hooked up from the wiring harness. Just curious!

It's probably the choke heater terminal block... mine is mounted to the front coil mounting bracket...

It drops 12 volt to 5 volt signal to heat the bimetallic strip on the stock choke coil that mounts in the top of the stock manifold.

I use mine to go to the choke on my Edelbrock carb, but I hooked it to the 12 volt side with a tandem connector.
