Need help identifying brackets

Putting my 70 challenger back together  and not sure where these brackets go. They are marked left and right but no other markings. Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks

Those are the original factory rear transport tie downs. they go on the rear on the frame rails. On doing a little looking, you should see the mounting holes on the frame rails.

  Those are shipping anchor brackets that go under rear frame rails {Beside exhaust heat shields)

Nope...they bolt to the frame rail...that's it

They point toward the rear of the car, and as you said, they are marked L & R

This was my first total restoration. Bought the car in 2017 and now I'm trying to finish it up.

Do ppl generally leave these on their cars? We're they removed at the dealer back in the day?

Mine were still there when I bought the car in 1979 and put them back on after the Dynacorn panel install.
